Hey y'all.
Thanks to everyone who sent words and vibes of love and support over the last week.
It's been an ordeal for us all. Momz is doing good. They got the bloodclot in time with the second, immediate surgery, and she's on blood thinners and mucho dope, so she just hangs out in a drug-happy bliss and watches TV in her hospital room. Her leg looks like Frankensteins' Monster, but that's to be expected.
We, on the other hand, are beat. We've spent the past few days just kind of staring at the walls in a stupor.
Shit, we didn't even get cut on, and we've got to recover!
Anyway, I'll be back around on a regular basis soon, I hope. We pick her up Tuesday, and then the home care starts.
Busy, busy, busy!
I haven't had much time to paint or write and it's killin' me!
Is that selfish, or merely acknowledgement of personal requirements for sanity and survival?
Ah well...all unfolding in it's perfect way in divine timing.

yeah, Iain's contributing to the Spring Post; i should be receiving some scans from him soon, and i'm looking forward to it. he and i are wondering, maybe you'd like to contribute something? you could join us for Bouville's first anniversary in June.
my romantic situation - hmm, well, it's never simple, is it... after some uncharacteristically civil discussion, she and i have agreed that the bond formed over these 13 months is not so easy to break, or ignore. we are now embarking on a "one day at a time" approach; still together, but at a revised pace. it seems to work, but time will tell.
aside from that, life in general is ok. the days are getting longer, which means i leave work while it is still light - feels like a miracle, i shit you not.
i have a show tonite - wish me luck!
