the temple (vintage instrumental)
The satyr
Crouched near
Mirror, licking
Dew from
The mouth below
The triangle.
Your future is the nerves, glowing.
Palms up, over, across, crossed
(Nails or flowers. Tooth of hours.
Greasepaint on a statue. Sincerely
I commit to call you
God. I started to scream, but
My throat filled with bells, opportunity
To expel and collect the notes,
Dissonance bestowed, something like
An opera in the sky.
There will be times.
Yes, the Valentine.
Yes, the short-reel
Quickly. No, I didn't
Blink. I couldn't think
Of darkness
Quick enough,
Amnesty in progress...)

Another late night. Paintings drying slowly; a good days work: a small tryptich called "hestia's shadow" and the poem above, which was pieced together from scribbled notes over the long evening. Now I'm sleepy, but wired. It's a bit cold in here. Fingers are a touch numb, and I have on both sweats and longjohns! Georgia in the fall is odd. Below freezing nights, crisp and breath-smoke blue-sky. Days are indian summer bright and just a bit of sweat in the sunlight.
Lacey's in bed already, curled up on my clean shirt I was gonna wear to bed. Good. Now it will be warm! She slept the entire night under the covers with me last night...so warm...purring into my stomach, claws slightly dug in. She slept for a while draped over my legs while I was on my side! When she is curled up, she makes a Yin-Yang, and she has a perfect lightning bolt down her forehead. Bast gave me a wonderful daughter to raise! So sweet and feisty...
I've found bits of worm around her butt, though. Got to get her to the vet soon. It's probably the reason she has a poofy belly. She's only a year old, and very active, so that might explain the weight gain. God, please, don't take her now. She's my lovey-dovey! (Yeah...I'm one of those...I love my cat!)
Off for now
Love to ya

I need to get that address to you soon.
If you want something custom, let me know. I'd be glad to have my work become a part of your work, so long as I get credit!
