Oh, no, I didn't even mean it as a "tag" just that I'd love to know your train of thought during the day, or just to watch you write. Wow, that must sound really creepy. I'll be quiet now...

I always look forward to your comments - you really put your heart and soul into them - thanks
I think of the virginity as a good thing as well; I've seen sex make people's lives a misery more often than not. And I think people's "easy" attitudes to it are a real hindrance to people forming solid lasting relationships.

i did read it! I just don't always have much to say. i think i did know most of that. That thing at the top of my journal was for the benefit of the other people I tagged, who i know don't check journals every day.
I don't have a driver's license either.

thanks! and thanks for the vote, too! though i think you'd look good in the wig.
kitties are so cute. never met a non-cute kitty. 'cept that stray that latched onto my arm when i was a kid, but i guess that's not fair.. 'cause the only reason i got near him was because he was cute.

krishna das is an american who sings hindu chants with a little band and other singers. really relaxing music and it makes you feel so good when you listen to it and sing along.
Myth in mercury, how to disturb me:

Impotent snow
Peaches in a stench
Boredom of voices
Hatless when the sun declines:

Is this random?
Enough, I guess
To offer milk, white lace boiled in the blood
Of a ghost. I do not know, but I do remember
Hunger is verse to vessel. Something...

She lives on the other side of the country. But it's a small country.
I actually found out something else on Cafeastrology.com - Venus is in Virgo in her chart. And having read up on what that means, it explains a lot, as far as her behaviour towards me over the last year goes. I think I know where she's coming from now.

Schiele was the first fine artist I was ever into - I was obsessed with him in my late teens, really related to him. His negative spaces are sublime, I agree; but then there's little about his work that isn't, especially his earlier stuff. I find myself re-inspired by his work roughly once every year. I know what you mean about not feeling able to better his stuff, but I like to think I have it in me to do just that. I feel that the key to painting is colour, that is, leaving drawing out of it; and I would've loved to have seen Schiele do some of his characteristic figure paintings without using his magnificent line, just the watercolours/gauche - PURE COLOUR PERSPECTIVE! That's my aim - to do what Schiele did, but without lines.
Kokoschka actually did some excellent watercolour figure paintings without drawing, but his "sense" of drawing wasn't half as good as Schiele's so they're not as effective.
Astrology is really interesting and helpful. I've done my birth chart online before and it's always said that I have Leo rising; but when I re-did it last night (on the same site, but they've changed their format), it said I had Virgo rising. I don't understand it, but Virgo rising actually makes enormous sense, much more than Leo; I'm very Virgoan in many respects, and I feel strangely comfortable with being part Virgo. This also explains certain aspects of my relationship with my "crush", because of her having Venus in Virgo - there's a commonality but also a conflict, because Virgoans are so judgemental. We do criticise each other a lot. I feel this is a good thing, though - we sort of hold a mirror up to each other, which allows us to see and correct our flaws, which wouldn't happen if we were a perfectly harmonious match. I don't set much store by supposedly perfect matches.
Time will tell.
Thanks for listening,
I.

i enjoy reading your poetry so much every day. sorry if i dont comment on it all the time but sometimes i feel like what i would say would be so small (? cant think of the right word right now) compared to what you write. do you usually meditate before writing? would you say its like a channelling? that seems to be when i write my best poetry. when just let it flow..
i do love it though, your poetry.
and i lucked out with those dishes..my husband did them.
im soooo glad i didnt have to because the smell i was smelling while he was washing them was making me gag.

I just wish it were as easy as that. I'm the only female in my entire district...and the guy that's the trouble maker is the golden child of the same district. I'm trying to make a name for myself here...and if I stand up and make a stand of this, I'm going to ruin my reputation before I get one, you know what I mean? I need to be sure I have a solid team so when I am up against some big tough shoplifter, they're actually going to back me up.
But, at the same time, this kind of treatment is not worth it.

Two simple fires.
Too simple fires
Burn out quickly.
(Happy holiday. Which or
What, it doesn't matter,
Just wake up.)
There's moon-burn
On the mantlepiece,
Heart warms
On hearth,
No boundries. "Now"
Is the lost child
Of "nevermind".
Or do
Mind, but
Say it
Quickly
In happiness...

Thank you. I think you're right about the pain fading. It's still pretty raw right now, though.
The trade sounds fair to me. You'll probably have to pay way more for shipping, though.
