A woman
Is beautiful, but

You got to swing,
and swing

and swing

Like a handkerchief

In the wind.............

A while back, I saw this program on PBS about this particular type of penguin. During mating season, the male would bring to his desired mate a flat, oval stone. If she didn't like it, she would squak and bitch and flap her...

I think I would be grieving a little less if I could get the shadow box done. It's kind of become the "final" step...like, once it's done I know the memory is preserved forever.

Alas, my printer isn't cooperating...or even allowing me to turn it on, for that matter.

You seem to be extremely intelligent and interesting, plus you left a very nice message for me...how could I refuse a friend's request? smile

"WHO LET THE GODS OUT!?!?!! HOO-HOOHOO-HOO-HOO!!!"

Off to bed soon, to make church tomorrow. I go to ACRS, an pan-denominational, all inclusive church that focuses on Universal Spirit and how it applies to, and can be found in, all denominations and belief systems. It's neat. One week is a talk on Saint Francis, next week the Buddhas, etc...and how all of the wisdom and teachings...

Last ciggie before bed.

5.00AM...have to continue painting my grannie's house tomorrow.

Want to do some study on dream programming.

Haven't had a lucid dream in a while. Learned how to ground myself while doing so...last time I went there, I didn't wanna come back.

Got things to do here. Can't stay if I go...

Good night sweet ones.

Sleep well.. Wake well..

DAVID LEE ROTH IS REPLACING HOWARD STERN?!??!

odearlord.....

Roth lost something somewhere. The Lion-man vaudeville camp just seemed to get desperate and sad after he split the group. I like old Roth era VanHalen a lot...but...wow...fukin hell...replacing Stern.

It's like expecting GG Allin and getting Tom Jones. Well, maybe not exactly.

Then what?

Replaced by Sammy Hagar. A couple of good moments, but sux...

"Into the fire. I'm reunited"....lyric from an old Dokken song...old Hair-Metal band from the 80's

linkismyhero:
Wow, I had no idea Into The Fire was originally by Dokken! Sarah McLachlan did a cover version, that's what I was referring to! Now I'll have to check out the original!

Oh, and on SG you kind of have to play journal tag... if someone comments in your journal, you have to reply in theirs... kind of silly, but that's just one of the silly ways SG works surreal

A day inside....well, the rain stopped and the last two hours of daylight were heavenly so I went outside to smoke and pace and walk around the complex. Had to get out of the apartment. A biped in a box...too much of an animal for that...unless I'm huddled in with a mate....

Stack of new poems to be finished/edited/typed. I miss my studio. I miss...

Hey there! Happy Belated Birthday haha!! And of course, Welcome to SG, glad to have you aboard! As you've already noticed it's a great place to communicate, share your thoughts, meet like minded others (like my new girlfriend paintedbat, who's coming down and spending all of Aug. with me. She got her first south GA experience in June, and apparentlly she's coming back for some more sweet tea and boiled peanuts) , and of course.....see great erotic photography! (btw...not just the birthday thing....but you had to mention my favorite TV show of all time, The Twilight Zone!, God Bless the Sci Fi channel and holiday marathons!) Anyway....I hope your birthday was better than mine. You should read that journal entry if haven't, I got some good pics of a black eye! blackeyed

Cheers, man! Right on...my first SG friend! Yeah happy belated to you too...wow that's quite a shiner...ah...non violence...I woldn't call myself a pacifist, but that's my preference. My b-day was low-key. Out to dinner with my moms and her boyfriend, got a book I've been wanting for a while. Smoked some grass (Since I gave up the liquid-stupid, an occassional toke is about all I do!)

Yeah...SG is great! Feels like home, cool folks and great pics. I've been getting back on the "scene" slowly but surely. I caught LocalH at the Earl a couple of weeks ago...The Giraffes opened, and it was killer! Broke my glasses...lost myself for a minute, forgot I had 'em on....never wear glasses in a mosh pit!

Girlfriend comin in? Cool. Yeah folks who are new to the rural experience are shocked at first, but once climatized, seem to do okay. I live in Atlanta...I always say, There's Georgia...then there's Atlanta. Sorta new here again. I was living at a commune up in the mountains for a couple years. Good time, learned alot. but needed to do some edgier things.

Ah well...all unfolding in its perfect way...

Thanx for comin' by. Howz yur momma n' them??

(southern speak, ya know!)

Mmmmmm...veggie tacos!

Shredded white and red cabbage, matchstick carrots, finenly chopped broccoli sauted in olive oil with fresh garlic, ginger paste, basil, cilantro, hint of thyme and truffle oil. Finish off with ground red pepper flakes and ginger sesame sauce on grilled, browned in butter flour tortillas. Eat and wiggle w/ joy. (Okay...the sauce was bottled, but what can ya do???? Excellent and gorgeous! What a wonderful place you have here! Makes me happy to see the fire pass from eye to eye. I was given a 1 month membership as a partial thanx for helping someone move, and it's the best gift I've gotten in quite a while, and I feel that the best is yet to be! (Do I look angry in that photo?...

Okay...I've figured out the picture: Michael Stipe and Billy Bob Thorntons' lovechild after joining the Manson family at their lovely desert retreat! Stipe and Thornton, to me, are two of the most interesting people on the planet, so that's cool....Manson, et al...donno...I mean, I got into the whole Helter Skelter thing when I was younger, digging on all the serial killers and all, but now it seems all they did was kill a b-grade actress and some other folks (god bless their hearts, and all) lend the Beatles an edge of darkness that only helped out their artistic credibility, and make little old ladies all over the country deathly afraid of hippies, which is ridiculous. Be afraid of hippies for other reasons, like utopian Naziism and high handed judgement wrapped in flowers, but most hippies aren't gonna kill ya! Trust me: I just spent the better part of two years living communaly in the North Geaorgia mountains...I couldn't watch a Tarentino movie or watch a stupid mind-numbing TV show without getting a lecture, or having it brought up in "council", so ya know....live and let live applies to you too, Moonbeam. (I'm not really bitter...I just gotta rant a bit! I learned SO much, and what I kept for myself of that knowledge has changed my life for the better in o so many ways...but geez! Live and let live!)

Nicotine and Caffiene hangover today. Dry mouth-dizzy-pee-alot. This is easy, I have hang over stories that'll make you switch to sweet milk, I ga-ron-tee! Up after 3 and a half hours sleep. Rainy day in ATL. but that suits me fine. Pianting a house for the person I'm helping to move...may be too damp to finish. Siesta...fiesta of one!

Omlet and poetry reading/writing sounds good. Can't work on artwork where I'm at, but there's a cheap digital camera that takes really weird pics...might occupy myself that way.

See ya later my anonymous love.
