Me, Brooke and Corrynn tried to go to the Monkey Pub for Karaoke Sunday night, but we found out that the Monkey Idol thing they were doing only had twenty slots, all of which were filled, so we said fuck it and went to the Twilight instead. I've never been there for karaoke before and it was actually a blast. Lots of friends there, everybody was really nice and not too coked up (at least not as far as I could tell) and best of all I finally got to live my dream of singing "Edge Of Seventeen." It went over fairly well, although holy fuck I did not realize how long that song is. Also did "Allison" by Elvis Costello and delighted the crowd by turning it into a Prince song. This weekend generally kicked some ass.
