About two hours after I laid down to sleep last night I woke up full blown fucking SICK.
I've spent the entire day alternately napping and hacking up phlegm.
I left the house once, and wasn't entirely sure I'd be able to make it back home without having to stop.
Nothing even remotely resembling flu-like symptoms, it just happened. I went to bed with a sore throat, woke up completely ILL.
Not complaining, just explaining. Okay, maybe I'm complaining just a little.

Back in the day (10th, 11th grade?) I came down with pneumonia. Not sure how many folks out there in SG land have had pneumonia, but it's not exactly what I'd classify as a painless way to end up bedridden.
I was at school and started to feel the sore throat come on sometime before lunch. By the beginning of sixth hour I was white as a sheet. Could barely walk. Got a ride home, went up to my bedroom and face planted into my pillow.
Woke up.
Started coughing up bloody mucous. (Actually, it's not blood, and it's not even blood colored. It's actually rust colored, but resembles blood.) Couldn't move. Hospital. X-rays, but I didn't even have enough strength to stand up to wait for them. Antibiotics. Missed some school.
At least I got to miss some school.

But thankfully whatever it is I've got wasn't pneumonia. It did come on really quick though, so that's the only thing I could relate it to. Anyway, I'll probably feel much better tomorrow.

It's the crappy air I tell ya.
Just stop breathing.
Or invest in a comfy gas mask.
That would be NEAT!
