from most of what i've heard, a lot of folks seem to be under the impression that the saying is:
"money is the root of all evil."
but that's not true. or at least that's not how the saying goes. what the saying actually is, is:
"the love of money is the root of all evil."
funny though, that because of money, love and evil are inextricably linked (should one choose to believe that saying).

well, when it comes down to it, money IS the root of all evil. well, maybe not ALL, but the vast majority.
