I haven't been around lately, and I'm going to be gone from now until the end of the week, I am a neglectful fucker lately.
However, seeing my family this week is going to be very good for me. I am very much looking forward to it. I hope all is well, or at least getting well, for all of you.

Anyway, in the mean time, here's a question. It may not be formated like questions are usually formated, but I hope that doesn't stop anything.
I would love to be able to give someone peace of mind. Have any of you ever felt like you gave anyone that? I would love to hear about it. It just seems that I'm so involved with my own shit that I completely neglect the needs of people I care about.

I think i have from time to time given someone peace of mind, but it never lasts and sometimes latet what I said, that sounded sincerte and comforting at the time is thrown back at me and made to sound trite and condescending. If I were not such a masochist I would probably stop trying.
