I've just started sorting through the Live-Journal SG group. Wow. I need to get out more. The internet has this weird duality of being synchronized as the most heavily trafficked region in our minds, but also a strangely foreign landscape in our ideals.

What I went out and did, was look for a reason to care. I came back with a great reason not to.

We're the melting pot. The most fucking diverse group of retards, as un-PC as it is to say that, around. We can act like this matters so much, and say we don't care as we're holding in such animosity about our proceedings. But this much diversity creates such a clash sometimes. As far as our opinions and stating them, we're fucked if we have them, fucked when we express, but if we don't expect what's coming from someone else then we're polarized into choosing sides.

Since right and left are automatically taken, and we don't think of ourselves as being extremists, we force our thoughts into this happy middle ground. But there's not room for that many equations to work out peacefully.

Acceptance is a virtue, friends. And subtlety and cryptic speech (my own included) should be taken at face value or discarded completely. Embrace what we have here. Don't get carried off. This ether is mad. What a drug can be poured through my DSL cable.
