I have decided to give my liver a rest. I'm just drinking one drink a day. Back in the early 90's I quit drinking for four years. I was such a T-Toadler. 
Last weekend was Dear Creek Days and I went back to the hometown mostly to catch Chad's shows at the Paisley Shaw, he plays on the deck, under the stars.
There is a Tinsley Ellis concert next Tuesday at The Attic, one of my least favorite venues here in town, and the Pinedale Bluesfest is coming up at the end of the month. Oh Boy!
My Liberal friends are all pissed at me. In doing some of the research for my book I come across information that the ACLU went out of business in 1967 and was taken over by a foundation with very close ties to the CIA. In fact several ex CIA people are closely involved to this day.
The source for the information was Robert Kennedy before his assassination in 1968. So, I'm believing it.

Good luck with the not drinking thing - I pretty much cold turkeyed maybe 15 yrs ago (or more? god I'm f'n old) and aside from the occasional beer I've stuck with it ever since.
