The weekend started on Thrusday and I got in at 3 am. Went to see Phil Walker on Friday and got in at 1:30 am. Did R&R on Saturday and partied again last night. Shit, I need a job to slow my life down.
I have been working in a project that is starting to get totally out of control. It's called Politically Expedient Accidents, Murders and Suicides in American Politics. This is what I have come up with on the John Lennon Assassination.
John Lennon, singer and song writer, John was shot and killed on December 8, 1980, by a mental patient and loner named Mark David Chapman.... Read More
I was born on the day that lennon was killed about three hours prior. Mark Chapman was from the same town I was born in (Kailua, Hawaii), we went to the same high school (Kailua High School) and both he and his wife used to work at the same hospital as my mom. When he decided to leave the hospital to try to kill lennon the first time, he actually signed out John Lennon and his wife knew what he was doing. She in no way tried to stop him.
One of the local eateries that was standing in the way of corporate progress has moved to the warehouse district here in Casper. They are now open with a bar and restauraunt and have booked the hardest working man in rock and roll and A local favorite, Chad Lore, Thursdays. I have followed Chad from gig to gig for the past five years and this... Read More
Well, things are running as slow as molasses here in Ghost Town. The great boom of last summer has turned to bust in the dust this one.
Things are beginning to dry out after the persistent rains earlier in the week. The rubarb is up and coming so I think I'll do a rhubarb pie for the Friday afternoon club.
bust in Casper huh?
heard anything about RS? Heard the meth is eating it up, combined with Haliburten moving in. I'll be passing through the state in three weeks, but not as far north as casper.
Went to a Brian Lee concert in one of the local bars, Holy Shit it was good. His drummer did a 10 minute drum solo that was amazing. Also did a house concert on friday night, It also was a great show.
Well the passing of the aniversary of Tio's death was not as bad as I expected, but I'm still having trouble with him... Read More

We got a inch of snow but it melted the next day. I went out for Chad Friday night and he put on a great show. Had some deer in the back yard yesterday and I got drunk as shit last night but no hangover today. life has slowed to a snails pace and not much else going on.
*I'm still looking for space to do my business in, I just need 6 to 8 hundred sq ft and just can't find it. This town and I mean town is just not small business friendly. If I didn't have this house I would be out of here in a shot
I'm enjoying the hell out of a bunch of Bogart movies I have and... Read More
As for Casper, man all of Wyoming is small business un friendly. It's a nightmare. It's like it's written into the state Constituition that large corporations will get the pick over small businesses every time!
good luck with that Billy, and enjoy your weekend away.
I don't have much to report. Unseasonably warm weather continues. We continue to lose the war in Iraq. The country spirals down with inflation rates and unemployment rates under reported. The dollar ain't worth shit. And everyone looks to be having a great time in spite of it all.
It did snow a couple of inches yesterday and wet snow this time. Just a drop in the bucket so to speak but every little bit helps. It's just a little past three and I'm already getting drunk. Cuervo rocks!!! There is Blues in the bar tonight and the Friday Afternoon Club with friends at five.
People want to turn the friday club into an... Read More
