this has to be quick, but i did not update all weekend...
friday nite party was FUN!! someone brought a bottle of absinthe so that was an unexpected treat... i had a shot, followed by a bottle of pink champagne, mmm-mmm! drank some beer, smoked some happy-tobaccy and danced my heart out till i turned red in the face. it was a smashing good time!
saturday i discovered a really good sushi place in HB called Full-Moon Sushi... i went with
arazorbladephase we ate a bunch o sushi and it was not even that expensive!! very resonable prices...
anyway... i saw memento for the first time on sunday... it was good! complex... lots o stuff goin' on... the kind of flick u wanna go back and re-watch right away, because it will all make sense the next time around...
oooh, i saw the Old 97's last nite, at the glaxy theater in santa ana... they are SO GOOD!! the show was great, and they played a lengthy set which was very cool... i was surprised how young rhett miller looked, i imagined him as an older fellow... i was totally wrong.. anyway, it was a rad show
blah, blah, blah...
oh ya... i got the new Faint cd and the new Social D.
i heard the first half of the new Faint and it sounded really good...
But, right now, i am totally into the new Social D. cd...
Sex, Love, and Rock&Roll i love it!! mike ness is still rockin it in a major way... u should give it a listen
