eeeeeeeeeeep!!! i got to see my boys last nite!! there was a surprise unannounced GREEN DAY show yesterday, and thanks to a lucky heads up, and my bf waiting in line to get tix right when tthey went on sale, i got to go!! 
good thing he did that too cause the show sold out in 8 minutes!
so me n matty went to them last nite at the grand olympic auditorium in los angeles... we even got tix for the floor!! i guess this surprise show was sort of a dress rehersal for their japan tour...
it was fuckin' RAD!!! there was no opening band... they just came out and played for like 2 hours!!
billie joe, was like "We're gonna play some new stuff... we're gonna play some old stuff... we're taking requests... we're gonna do cover songs... we're gonna play all nite...!"
it was such an awesome fun show... they covered everyone from the who, to the go-go's, to billy idol... to cheap trick... it was so fun
the new stuff sounded rad... i cant wait to hear the new album in september...
and of course all the gd classics... eep eep eeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!! it was sucj a surreal experience, cause i didnt even have to wait in anticipation for the show... it just got announced, and i found myself at this amazing green day show the next day... sweet!!
billie joe is STILL as handsome as the sun is bright.
