I realized today that I am much less friendly than I like to tell myself I am. A girl I barely know wished me a good weekend and then said "oh, I guess I'll see you in class tomorrow anyways, but still..." I do, in fact, have a class with her tomorrow. I was more confused as to why she would care if I had a good weekend or not. So I asked my friend why she would wish me a good weekend since we barely know each other. He pointed out to me that that is what pleasant people do, and if I were a pleasant person I would have wished her a good weekend as well instead of looking at her like she had suddenly grown an extra head. And he was right.
