I am both happy and annoyed...
I'll start with the happy. I got a new laptop
Here's what it's got, for those of you who know computer spec's. P4-m 2.0Ghz, 40GB HD, 512 mb ddr, 64 mb GeForce 4 graphics, 15' UXGA screen,
DVD-R/RW/CD-R/CD-RW. It has some other cool features too, like the mouse touchpad is used for other things..you press a button and you can scroll through special applications such as a calculator or number pad,even a note pad and then you do everything on the touchpad. The thing that got me the most excited was the TV-out with digital sound. I have a good computer but it's not near a tv which has the inputs needed to hook up the computer but now I can just take my laptop downstairs and play my games on my big tv.
I apologize for my overall nerdyness, I can't help it, I'm a technology whore. At least I still spend most of my time with my girlfriend instead of sitting in and playing everquest all night. That will offend the everquest fanatics.
Now for the bad, well not really bad, annoying, my one roomate infected the whole house with sickness. Damn cold/flu thing has been causing some havok on my system. I basically have no immune system, definitely not what I needed right now. But it gives me an excuse to lay around in my bed and play with the laptop.
Today's Activities:
Pick up Fed-ex package
Skip Unix class
Partition laptop into 6 plus a smallswap partition, then install W2K advanced server and Linux Mandrake 9. Then organize file system
Sell soul to Satan
Go to psych class for once
Come home and be lazy
Well at least I updated, you might not have found it that informative but I sure did. Thanks mike
One last thing, I just really came to realize that I have a lot of shirts that have skulls on them. I guess it should come as no surprise considering I got the grim reaper tattooed on one arm, Skulls and fire are where it's at.
