being home really sucks. Being attached to the machine sucks.
I can an am able to go to work. The problem is the machine that I'm hooked up to. I need to have a nurse come in and change the dressings and reattach me. If I go back to work my insurance will not provide me the nurse coverage.
I dont want to go on disability because I cant afford to live off that. I'm like a million other Americans is living paycheck to paycheck.
I used up all my sick time and now Im using my vacation. I just finished week 3 of my vacation. I was out for 4 weeks already.
Now the wound is healing the infection is gone and hopefully if the wound has closed more I will get it stiched and will be back to work on Tuesday or Weds next week.
My sleep cycle is messed up. I'm still waking up at 6 am as I normally do but i've been taking a nap at 3pm.
I'm still not used to this format for this site.

Oh, it's only 50% when you're on short term disability? I must not be remembering it right. I thought I was paid more than 50%. Regardless, your situation really sucks. I hope things get better for you really soon.
