The new VP is pretty cool. I got her office and computer, outlook all set up and running smoothly. I saved the department a call to IT. We are going to get her an iPhone instead of a crackberry.
Its only the first day but so far so good.
I was speaking to my manager in the afternoon. I looked tired she jokingly said working hard today? I said yeas Im so tired. Im to old to be climbing under desks. She said you did a good job today. Everything went through with out a hitch. That made me feel good.
Not only the new VP started yesterday A new staff memeber started as well. I had to get her computer set up and running as well. It took me a while to figure it out. She came from the medical center and her computer had a static IP. That was the last thing I thought of to look at.
So I got both staff memebers up and running.
I hope I become the VP's assistant. If thats the case I will be getting a raise and a promotion.

Fingers crossed you get promoted, you work your ass off and its time you got some recognition for it.
