So it's Easter and for the first time, I'm really missing family.
I got a phonecall from my folks and it seems that there was a mass family gathering (as usual).
I just bummed around here in San Jose (Santa Clara if you want to be picky). Went to the local mall to kill time and found out that it was closed. Surely in the most capitalist nation in the world, there is no day that business can't be done? Managed to get to Borders on Santana Row and bought a couple of books (for when I finish Stardust by Neil Gaiman). I got American Gods (also by Neil Gaiman) and Angels and Demons (by Dan Brown). I haven't read Da Vinci Code yet but I guess that this is actually the first book.
Hoped to go to the cinema tonight but realised that there's fuck all that I want to see. I watched Ring 2 last week and nothing came out that interested me this week.
Sin City comes out next week so I'll wait until then.
Finally feel like I'm shaking off this cold of mine. A few more TheraFlus and I'll be fine.
Listened to QOTSA's new album all the way through for the first time. It's actually not bad - I had my doubts.
Unfortunately it looks like their only Scottish tour date will be T in the Park which has sold out (sold out in 4 days!!!!). Means I'll miss Audioslave and Foo Fighters too.
I hate it when bands come to the UK and either only play festivals or only play in London. It's pish.
