Went to the Danzig show last night in Anaheim. It was sweet, Glen threw down and the crowd was great, everyone was totally hyped. The only thing that sucked was that they had some technical difficulties with the guitar right at the beginning, so they played the intro and everyone was screaming and getting ready to explode and then there was silence for like 5 minutes. It kinda killed the vibe, but when they started playing it didn't matter.
It was a great set, he played a whole lot of old shit, lots off of Danzig 1, plus a lot of the songs from the new album. It was killer to hear the new ones live for the first time and see peoples reaction and hear everyone singing along. It's the greatest feeling in the world to hear the songs in the studio and then go hear 1500 (or so) people singing every word and moshing and going crazy over the songs. That's what its's all about.
We stuck around for the afterparty, but there was really no one hanging out, so we left shortly after the show...All in all a great time!
