Gala is impending.
My station has a fundraise-y gala thing where wealthy dowagers mingle with a famous radio guy and we simple employees are religated to bartenders and coatcheckers. I am the latter. It should be ok, but I have some impending dread over it. Not sure why yet...
My funds are suffering. I've been playing a little too loose and fast with my money, and it's about to bite me in the ass. I just know it. The problem has been my new vice. The "Rock Star Night".
Rock Star Night (noun) - going out to the strip club way early, around 7 or 8 PM, so that you are the only person there. The crowds don't show up till around 10, so you will have several hours of all the stripping events being directed right at you. The DJ gives you shout outs about how much of a pimp you are, all the girls want your attention (read: money), and you generally get to feel really important for a few hours.
The drawback is the price. You can't live this way too often. And I'm getting too into it. It hasn't cost me in my personal life, mind you. I still hang out with my friends and stuff. But two times in two weeks has drained my poor bank account. No more rock starring for me for some time.
