I have recovered.

Post-migraine is alot like a hangover. You're very dehydrated and spacey, and you still have a little bit of a headache. And you might vomit without provocation.

But I did not.

I got out today in time to see the wonder that is Evansville in thaw. I can actually see the pavement in places! And I will definitely be able to get home and claim my still unopened Christmas gifts. So when I post to all the "What did you get for Christmas" threads a week late, you know why.

I don't want to jinx it yet, but I might be getting a cat soon. My grandmother found one in a parking lot, and it's apparently the world's most affectionate cat. It's been neutered and declawed and all the stuff I would have to do to it to get it in my apartment, but wouldn't have the balls to subject a cat to. It's yellow and short-haired and wonderfully fat as all-git-out. And as long as it doesn't belong to someone else, and they claim it soon, it will be mine. Any suggestions on a name?

I've added some pics of me, and joined some groups, and been all post-y, and had lots of fun here so far. And been made to feel quite welcome. Thanks, all!
