Peculiar happenings around these parts.
I awoke from a 3-hour nap at 6:45 PM and was convinced it was morning. I thought,"I should sleep another hour; then get up for work." I know this happens to other people, but I can't remember the last time I felt that tired and disoriented. My marrow had been filled with mud and someone had bludgeoned me with a ham hock. I just lay in bed, trying to discern time and place.
bigirishhead- "Nurse...my name is (bigirishhead) and I am 27 years old. The year is 2003."
Nurse-"Good, bigirishhead! Now, open your mouth. Peas! Your favorite."
See, I got up at 5:30 this morning to go shoot a scene for a student film. I'd only slept about 4 hours and had to drive directly to work following the shoot.
...but..
I've never been more focused and attentive as an actor than I was this morning. My partner and I created something pretty fine out of the material. Couldn't be happier in this regard.
I also concluded my acting class last night. We attended a wrap party at my director's house and watched the footage we'd filmed over the last 7 weeks. Everyone made tremendous progress and turned in some great work. What used to be fantasy and specualtion is now fond memories and tangible product.

So you're gonna be an Angelino, too? I definitely have to get down there for a visit. My new roomie goes to LA all the time. She's a rocknroll photographer, shoots for Rolling Stone, etc. So maybe one of these days I'll hop down with her. Ooh, LA will be a good time!
