OK... So this is my first blog entry on this site.. As a matter of fact, this is my first bog entry ever.. Up until now i have been a blog virgin, but its time to pop the cherry i guess.. Today i found a direction for my life.. Dont get me wrong, I've been going down the road for quite some time now, but today was the first time i said to myself "hey, I'm really fucking doing this!".. It's 1st year, second semester.. I'm studying computers and loving it.. yep, that meas i am a geek.. but a high functioning geek i feel.. coming to these realizations has really opened my eyes to who i am though.. Its funny.. you spend so many years thinking that everything you're doing is what you're supposed to be doing, until you do something else and come to the conclusion that what you were doing before wasnt what you wanted or needed at all.. But you look back upon your experiences and realize that its those mistakes that have brought you to where you are now.. I guess im grateful for the mistakes i've made.. it puts all the right choices into perspective.. i think we could all use a little perspective from time to time..
My friend will be going into 3rd year studying comp sci in the fall (technically 4th, but he's at an internship at IBM right now) and he absolutly loves it!
