Interesting time at the Slayer, Megadeath, Testament show tonight. The bands played AMAZING I can't say more about that! They were fully loaded and Adrenalin pumping bad ass.
I am a long time metal fan and I love my metal head brothers and sisters... However tonight the WAMU Theater was full of dumb ass kids that have no idea about the etiquette that is deep in the community. Standing on the rail was a kid that I was waiting to see cry because people were pushing him. If you are on the rail expect to be crushed a little and if you don't like it get out of the way. When about 25 people got pushed over there was nobody really attempting to help anyone up; instead the crowed rushed forward and trampled on those that fell.
Every old school fan that I spoke to that was around that area was frustrated too. I love getting crushed, beaten, bruised, bloodied in a pit... love the energy of the music and the loyalty of the fans. I don't like a bunch of a-holes that don't respect the bands the other people around and what the whole thing stands for. But I did meet some really cool people too and everything said had a great time.
