Suicide Girl's has past another milestone celebrating 14 years of of online alternative models. Sadly, I read a comment just below the posting of this milestone that stated how disappointed they are of how mainstream they have become and that "plastiboobs" (breast enhancements, have diminished the whole meaning behind Suicide Girls. This made me sad and angry at the same time. I personally don't think anything has diminished in the message of alternative beauty with the SG's. It's sad when ANY woman is un-appreciated, and yes, even the women who have felt they wanted/needed breast enhancements. If you are a true consistent viewer of all things SG, then you will know that women of all shapes, sizes, hair colour, tattoos, no tattoos, piercings, no piercings, enhancements or no enhancements are welcome as contributors to the site as well as any other offered media. Now I realize that people can have their opinions and that's totally fine. I guess I'm just upset because the way this person stated it, diminishes exactly what the SG's site stands for. Tolerance and open to new and exciting looks towards beauty and even fashion with some of the most beautiful women in the world. All right here on this amazing site. Being mainstream as the commenter stated is actually a great thing. This means that people are becoming more accepting and redefining their definitions for just what beauty is....well, for some anyway. So the more "mainstream" the better as far as I'm concerned!
