I'd love to get even half that much snow dumped on us! Yeah, I'd think it would take more than a few feet of snow to close your schools! Here, just the threat of an inch or two and people are stocking up on groceries like it was Dec. 31, 1999!!
I have in-laws in Homer. I want to see the Northern Lights. Are they spectacular? Can you see them? Does it happen often? My Daddy-O used to talk about them when I was little and I've alsways wanted to see. He loved it/them (whatever).
Sadly, I have no leather Chucks. But I have some that look loke the inside of a sweatshirt which are really my favorites.

I got a new Nephew today! Zack was actually due Febuary but he couldn't wait any longer and the docs say he's doing just fine. "Strong genes in the family" a friend said. My mom said that another nephew that was born the same way and he's just fine i had no idea. Zack is 1lbs 7oz

Hey congrats on the new nephew! Man, I LOVE babies. They're so tiny (well, 1.7 is extremely tiny) and sweet and they smell good. *sigh* I want a baby. But I can't have any more (4 was my limit) because I'm a barren waste land, now. That and I'm just too damn old. Maybe I need grand babies! Yeah. Grand babies that I can spoil and send home with lots of noisy new toys to drive their parents insane.
