Yes, it looks as if the era of being an independent contractor may be over. Just got to the point where having a steady check, regardless of its size, is better than wondering when clients are actually send the money they fucking owe me. Can't budget when you don't know when the cash is coming.
So, off I go to try and get my CNA certificate, which I should be able to get in about 1 month, and then hit the hospitals and fill one of the numerous positions I see on there job boards. Gotta start somewhere....
Saw the Black Keys on Friday. Absolutely amazing show. No frills, no flash, just in-your-face blues rock. The amount of sound coming from just a drummer and guitar player was impressive. Check out anything by this band...it all rocks.
ALSO..... Bought my ticket for Kings of Leon...they are coming in August to the Orange Peel (Killer Venue). Could I be any more excited? I think not....
