Got to work yesterday to find a police ARV and assorted cops in armour/guns. This was at 5am. They refused to say owt much but questioned me as to why I was there (working, like a dumbass). They also wanted to be let into the adjoining building to our workshops but I didn't have a key. I do actually but hey, they're, like, the pigs 
Mid morning (9am, okay, my clocks are fucked) when somebody in block 2 finally arrives there's a full raid and it turns out there's been a tip-off that the local brewery is smuggling barrels of coke rather than real ale, hence the vast armoury and assorted bullet-headed plainclothes fuckwits. Three hours later, nobody's been arrested, no evidence has been evicted, nobody can get any gossip.
Meanwhile, we ran out of teabags today, mid afternoon. And I finally got my DAB and handsfree fitted & feel all sales-rep ish. Look at me, for fuck's sake, I ask ya
