Well I finally sucked it up and went to see her. She was handling business but caught me out of the corner of her eye and smiled (weird). Then when it was my turn everything went very well. The conversation was upbeat and congenial. She was beautiful. And pregnant to say the least.
She was definitely high on life now that she is back together with the punk, which is sad when you consider how she's gonna crash hard when he walks out on her again.
Earlier in the week I had driven by her car in the parking lot and noticed the most pathetic ghetto hand-me-down baby stroller in the world in the back of it and it just made me feel horrible to think she's uncapable of supporting her daughter (not that the punk is going to support her at all, he fucking leeches off her something fierce) and decided to send a nice stroller to her anonymously at her baby shower through our mutual friend.
