I'm not sure how many more years I can take alone. I'd really like to feel wanted some day. I wonder if anyone else on this site knows what it feels like to be completely single for 25 years (with five dates-admittedly-where the girl said yes and actually showed up), whether they've tried to pursue relationships or not.
I suppose the icing on the cake is that I've never heard a single fucking song that I can relate to in this way. Not a one.
I'll tell you this much, the old adage that just when you stop looking, someone turns up is, in my experience, total, complete, and utter dogshit on every level.
Sorry, i just have these concentrated moments every six months or so in my isolation. Having friends who can't relate doesn't help much either.
