Well I'm finally back and settled in from my first adult vacation. And boy howdy, it was fucking fantastic. I mean really. A lot of people made fun of me for going there and going by myself but in the final analysis, I had been working so hard, and was so stressed out and just needed to relax and go somewhere where everything would be taken care of and I wouldn't feel pressured to do things I hadn't done before and that was just skippy.
I mean, c'mon. I arrived, checked in, and got a keycard to my room. I could use that keycard like a credit card to pay for anything anywhere in the resort. I didn't have to drive a car the entire time I was there (that's a BIG deal to us people who live and work in L.A.), the monorails were fucking awesome. Everything was heavily discounted, the food was incredible, the weather was somewhat cold, but bearable. But the best part was, there were no attractive girls anywhere, which made for zero tension and allowed me to just enjoy myself.
The waterparks were completely empty which was nice, and I really got a chance to enhance my photography skills while I was there. I'm putting up a buncha new pics from the trip. I hope you like them. Sorry, no pics of inked up floozies, just my trip. I was really working hard on nighttime photography. I think the shots came out really well. Incidentally, I learned the true advantage to digital on this trip - namely, I took nearly 1800 pictures. Out of that 1800 I deleted about 300 that were out of focus or just crappy. And out of the remaining 1500, there were only about 150 I wanted to actually print. Can you imagine if that had been film? I would have had to print everything!
Ten days! Ten F'ing days!! And everything went perfectly! I didn't forget to take anything! I didn't forget to bring anything home! I came in at or under budget!
Get a grip!! Sorry, sorry. It was just so, so, so....sooper.
Anyhoo, I'm back. Go look at pix if ya want.
And....oh yeah....I'm sick again dammit.
