I had a fairly good weekend but, I ate way too much food. I had a veggie bbq with some friends at Springbrook and we went on a bush walk. The bbq plate was pretty gross and meaty to start with, we had to clean it - it was pretty gross. It was nice and relaxing to spend a day in nature with friends. We saw a beautiful waterfall and a rainbow.
I love being out in nature, it's good to get out amongst it and reconnect with the earth.
Last Thursday night I went to the Tiger Beer Transit Party. They did a great job of transforming the station platform into a club.
There was a pic of me and my super buddy Pawel in Sunday's paper. They had all these street artists making a huge mural, these huge arse woks cooking yummy Asian treats they even came in small white Chinese takeaway boxes with chopsticks, they also had a dj from the UK that mixed up some Clash and Madonna...
me and Pawel made friends with these two awesome guys. One of them, Mike, is from Canada and used to sing in a punk band when he was younger. How's that? Out of a whole platform full of people I gravitate towards the punk rocker! It always happens... maybe I have a built in punk rock radar, ha. To make a long story short, I had a good time, made some new friends, spied some beautiful grrls and drank copious amounts of beer. Tiger beer is good. I'm hooked, it has no preservatives and crap like some other beers. I want to go to a cocktail party now!
I think I'm getting new hair this weekend, not sure it depends on funds but, I'm thinking a fringe and maybe aqua? What do you all reckon? Or maybe pink or purple? Red is good too? I'm so indecisive!!!
Easter this weekend too = public holidays and lots more food.
My friend at work came back from Japan last week and bought all these yummy Japanese candy and snacks and she got me some Hello Kitty stickers, yay! Because all the candy packets are written in Japanese it's kind of a lucky dip as to what you get. Surprises can be good.
