I got to do my GC interview on the weekend, it went really well. They're super nice... their show was excellent although they kept saying how much they love Brisbane, and how much Brisbane rocks and how much they want to feel Brisbane all over them and how much harder Brisbane rocks than anywhere else etc etc etc (think of a sentence dripping with cheesiness and insert the word Brisbane and you pretty much got it)... Once again a solo mission! Day Of Contempt & The Bleeders from New Zealand were AMAZING!!!! Check them out...

Anti-Flag this weekend!!! And my beautiful friend Chantel's Wedding/Birthday party!! I'm so excited... not sure what to wear? One thing for sure, I want to look like a super hot female to quote Gwen Stefani. I can't get enough of her new album... I'm a music geek and I like pop what can I say?

I read in the paper today that the author Hunter S Thompson shot himself... how totally sad, that man was a genius with his writing it's such a shame.

If anyone cares, listen to Short Fast Loud late tomorrow night on Triple J I'll be doing the QLD punk rock scene report... and I have an Anti-Flag interview in Rave this week... my GC review will be in next week along with a new Tiger Army interview with Nick 13. Plug plug plug... yes, shameless self promotion I know...

So there's lots happening in my world as usual... I've started meditating daily again, I kind of fell of the wagon for a few weeks when my mum was sick isn't that strange? When you need your faith the most sometimes it falls to the way side... Everything seems to be getting back into balance, I just need to get my arse to the gym more often. My job is physical though so I still get exercise every day. Hopefully I'll keep everything in focus... still looking for another part time job so I can go to Warped in the US this year (Transplants & Avenged Sevenfold are confirmed!!!) The universe will provide...
