That's right it's Monday morning in my part of the world and seeing a lot of the people on SG are from the US I guess I could say, hello from the future!
I had to work early Saturday morning which totally sucked ass, although I did get to work with one of my cooler bosses so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. People may think working in a library is pretty boring but, it isn't. A guy at work was telling me that not too long ago one of the library staff found a blow up doll in a brief case under one of the book stacks! I was like OMG! Why would someone be stashing a blow up doll in a library? I also find naked pics of people they leave in their books they return quite frequently actually. At the last library I worked at someone O'D in the toilets and two guys have a fight out the front and both came smashing through the glass doors!
On the weekend also, it was my friend Grub's birthday. So we had some backyard cricket, bbq and some brews (although I didn't 'cause I'm still on my self-imposed detox). It's been five days and I'm feeling super good! It's pretty hard to be good when everyone around you is being not so good but, I survived it none the less. II'll post some more pics of me and my friends on here soon.
There's a whole bunch of shows coming up soon I'm totally excited about this weekend Day Glo Abortions are in town - me & my friends are going to play some cricket with them on Saturday. Dwarves are next week and Madball. The week after it's Anti-Flag and Lawrence Arms then the week after it's Tiger Army.
On Wednesday night I'm going to a launch party for this new pole dancing school that's just open in Brisbane. I'm going to sign up for a course. Pole dancing is sexy.... and you get a really toned butt, thighs and arms. Despite what people think, there's a whole bunch of skill involved. I also got to start looking for another job! Yes I will be working three jobs then, as I have to save some money as I'm hoping to get over to the US in June/July this year...
