Death is just a door, for sure. But that doesn't take away the grief of people who have been left behind. In this particular case, I was visiting the grave of a friend who was murdered by her boyfriend at 22. So yeah, maybe she's gone on to another adventure, but that doesn't change the pain for her friends and family.

I just read over that and it sounds really grumpy & I don't mean it to. I guess you can apply your own personal belief system to any situation and make it sound good but sometimes it just turns out that stuff sucks.
