Recently, my lady and I broke up and she moved out. Not sure what will happen in the future but for now it's me and my best pal on 4 legs. Funny thing about him is, when I picked him out, we weren't even at the place for a dog. The original plan was to get stuff for the cats(which have also moved out). Every time I walked by this one spot, this puppy would start hopping around and doing circles. When anyone else walked by, he calmed right down.
But when I walked by he came right back to life. So I lifted him up, had the staff set up a play pen and spent some time with the little guy. Safe to say, he picked his daddy. Then, the day came to take him home and it was discovered that while he was there, he contracted kennel cough which is serious situation for puppies and elderly dogs. The staff said they'd care for him and at the time, we believed them. Come to find out, that was the last place we should have left him for care as they apparently had a HORRENDOUS reputation for it.
So we went back, grabbed him and told the losers of the business to go fuck themselves. She cared for him all night and day as I was at work 6 days a week from 0430 til about 1700 most days. 4 years later, hes doing well and is nothing but personality. A master at snoring, elite eater and expert cuddler, he's a genuinely awesome dog.
