Hung out with Katie, Erica, Marvin, etc tonight and it was absolutly what I needed. Marvin went on and on about how much he loved the necklace I made him. Katie went on and on about how much she loved my music. Erica went on and on about how much she missed having me around. In any normal circumstance, this rush of attention would be appreciated yet a bit overwhelming. However, I've really needed the kind words lately and it meant so much more than I think they even knew. Not to mention, I found out K is way more into girls than guys. A nice plus. If for no other reason than honesty. We could hook up and it could be amazing. True. But...we could also stay platonic friends and have a completely understanding relationship which would be equally as good. And M, he is all about some spoken word and hippie values. Awesome. And E, as dramatic as she can be at times, has such a kind heart and openly appreciates people so much. I love her for it. I think we will all be good for each other in so many different ways. I'm really excited about the prospect of this new group. It makes me feel less lost, less distant, less isolated, less misunderstood, less sacrificing...

The West coast in general might be a lot diffnt from what you've seen in AL (I don't know if you've ever visited) - worst case, Sacramento's pretty close to San Francisco which is one of my favorite places ever
