Quick update, did actually get off my butt and move to Austin. I adore it here. Rockin out with my band when possible...working on our first CD, hoping to play SXSW next year, we'll see. Teaching special ed kids in a neighboring suburb...still looking for a classroom position, though. Singing in the choir...in a trio and a small ensemble for our April show, wahoo!
Hmm hmm...currently on Spring Break and don't intend to do much with it except heal myself. Had a terrible February...which included a car accident, causing an annoyingly persistent back sprain that I have been unable to heal due to the physical nature of my job (see: lifting children in and out of wheelchairs, PE with severely autistic student, severely autistic student falling on me in all his 100 pound dead weight glory at least once a day...) The situation is getting very discouraging and I'm really hoping to have it sorted by the end of break. So, a resting I will go! But that doesn't mean I don't intend on getting into some trouble here and there

Otherwise, fighting the effects of Trojan virus on my comp. None of my USB extensions will work properly...Adobe and Coral Photo won't extract my photos from my camera, ITunes won't read my Ipod, recorder won't send files to Reason/Cakewalk/etc. Very very very VERRRRRRY frustrating! I've installed and run freaking everything. I'm pretty sure the virus is gone but I can't figure out how to fix the after effects. Any ideas? You could be my hero...

PS: remove the USB connections in hardware configuration. at the next boot they are recognized and reinstalled. however try to scan the computer again from a CD.
