So this is the one entry I actually am able to make...from a first grade classroom. I know. It's wrong in so many ways. But this is only place I have to use internet...dial up internet. Unfortunatly backwoods Ireland has not caught up to the rest of the world. However, broadband is in process so it's cool enough.
In short, Ireland is beautiful and the kids are absolutly precious. I have them singing Oh Suzannah this week...it's priceless. Haha. Can you imagine? With all their little IRish accents singing a ridiculously southern song? Too cute. I'm with 4th-6th grades right now. That's right. 4th-6th. They have 3 teachers here...with 3 classes each. I admire these people so much doing this every day of their lives. It's not so bad, though...just a lot of shuffeling.
Anyways...best experience of Dublin, Cork, Sneem, Kenmare, Templenoe and Killarney by far has been Cork. Ran into a bunch of musicians at a local bar and ended up jamming with them until 4:30am...it was incredible! 6 guitars, a violin, a set of bongos, and 15 people singing. Too much fun! I'm going back Saturday night for round two, actually. Previous to that, I'll be spendning Feb 15-18 in London. Studying over here has been rough Haha. Hopefully will get to update here in London but not so sure...it's best to find me at m2resolved on livejournal, whicih I'm able to uupdate slightly more frequently, or email me at m2resolved@gmail.com.
