I guess I really fucked up my ankle yesterday. A small communication breakdown led to a guitar case stopping right on it and now it's quite swollen and painfull. Honestly the only thing that bothers me about this injury is that in a few days I got a gig with one of my bands and finally i should have some space to jump around instead of being stuck in some corner, and now I find myself with this ankle thing and then a healing tattoo. Oh well, I guess I'll have a few shots of tequila and I'll deal with the consequences later.
Injury aside, I really enjoyed yesterday. Finally after 2 years of working at indie and metalcore concerts I would never step inside I got to see one of my favourite bands, Tiamat, pull off quite an amazing show. Plus i was given the green light to act like a complete asshole with some backstage dwellers that had pissed me off several times too many in the past 9 or so years so now, despite having lost my voice from all the yelling I did, I can't erase that big smile I got on my face since last night.
Ok that's it for now, I think I'll go get some ice for that damn ankle
