So yeah, I like wine.
Definitely I'm not the kind of guy who you'll find passed out in an alley with a cheap bottle of wine next to him, actually I'm kind of picky when it comes to it and i prefer to slowly enjoy a single glass rather than a whole bottle.
Living in Italy these past 8 years kind of helped this passion of mine since in every place you go you can find a local variety of wine that has it's interesting peculiarities, something that you can find in very few other countries. However while this passion was easy to pursue a few years back when work forced me to move around the country, giving often the opportunity to do some wine shopping, these few years that I'm kind of static I had to rely to some mail order wine producers. Nothing wrong with them really, the wine is usually top quality in all the variants and I can think on only a couple of occasions when their product was sub par if compared to the one i bought in the location of origin, and even in those cases it was just a slight difference. Though they do have a flaw....they feel the need to call me for a useless offer pretty much every week between 19 and 23. Ok sure thats a good timing since most people are home from work but, I don't know if others feel the same about this, if someone calls me like at 23:00 when I'm dead tired and used to expect bad news from the phone at that time, I won't be so eager to order wine no matter how good the offer. Today I got lucky, they called at 20:00 so it was a decent time but I'm sure next time I won't be so lucky.
I surely understand that this way they give some much needed jobs to people around my age, but damn between these solicited (since i'm a client) calls and a whole bunch of random unsolicited ones it's getting quite annoying. And thankfully my number isn't officially listed, it would be hell otherwise
