Everything is looking up! I'm pretty excited. Even if it doesn't all turn out perfectly I feel very reassured that with consistent effort good opportunities come. I just feel encouraged period.

As for the living arrangements, I am relocating for entirely other reasons so it kind of works out. I found out (from a reliable source) that this will actually be devastating to them. I am not happy about that, of course, but I am relieved to know that I am doing the right thing in the big picture.
