This weekend was amazing.
Friday I sent out with a handful of girl from my league on a bar crawl and did some recruiting (though I sometimes wonder how effective that is...usually I think it's just an excuse to dress up and drink a lot haha).
Saturday was a rough early morning practice,and then I headed up to Burbank to NSO for Angel City Derby Girls Rocket Queens vs Jet City's Pink Pistols, and it was AH-MAZE-ING!!!!! I got to work with the lovely Hannah Grenade of ACDG, who has been a ref-mentor to our league. I learned a new NSO position which was pretty easy. Was a little star struck by some of the wonderful girls and refs!!! I think DNN was there, so I may have to dig for it when it comes up in the archives, but I may be on a DNN archived boutcast!!!
