a few days ago I posted a link to my "regular" blog, I write for today.com and have been sharing my adventures since i have moved to southern california from colorado. so if you're interested, just feeling nosey and/or want to read an amusing true story, the goods are at:

Aside from that, just a quick intro
I joined the sg community mainly out of curiosity and i wanted to dye my hair purple and wanted to get some ideas. haha. i love that there's a web-community full of women who are individuals and are encouraged to be such!
I grew up in a small mtn town in colorado, went to college outside of portland oregon, and have lived in wales, spain, mexico, san francisco, and now orange county, ca. i've also spent a lot of time in italy, and have travelled allover the place! so travel is a passion of mine, meeting people from different cultures and with different background is something i love to do. i'm an artist who is married to oils, has an ongoing affair with acrylics and silversmithing and i have an occasional fling with ceramics, and various other media. i plan on starting my own jewelry line. however to pay the bills i am the financial director of a custom electronic systems (low-voltage) contractor, which makes me a walking contradiction and i think it's great!
