What a perfectly lovely day. I haven't had a Friday off in forever, and it's gorgeous. I did some errands in the morning, and discovered that many of the unions in town made good on their word to have a general strike in support of the health care workers who are on the lines. I had so much honking to do, gotta support the people who take care of us when we get sick! I stopped by the picket lines at the hospital on the way to the beach to get some stickers so I could show my support. I put one on the car, and then I picked up a bunch more, I think I'll put one on my party dress tonight at the magazine release party.
Then, I went to the beach for the first time this year, did some nekkie sunbathing, and actually went in for a chilly dip because I was getting too hot . Pretty icy, but worth it. Then I came home, watched the new Guerilla Warfare dvd and did some more knitting on my new little neice's jacket. Anyone else having a lovely time?
