Last night was wicked awesome! Desperate Measures played an amazing set, I have never seen such a high energy hardcore show in town before! They were living proof of my favorite hc adage: Hardcore Unity through Male Nudity, thank you boys! Lots of sweaty beefy men in their underwear, . Mental played a great set too, so high energy! They stayed at my house last night, and let me say they were the most pleasant house guests ever! Very quiet, and so tidy. You are welcome back any time, gentlemen! Blue Monday played their first show here, and it was awesome, and Far From Breaking also came out. Hometown heroes Tough As Nails started the show out, but I had to work the door, so I had to sit out most of their set, for the first time ever ! Wadewalker swapped off with me so I could catch one of their songs, so that was okay.
After the show, we all went downtown for pitas and pizza, it was madness! I hope all those boys made the ferry in time this morning. They are partway through their tour, so be sure to check them out, this show is not to be missed!
