Month one of my cleanse down, only 3 months to go, woot! I've igured in my calendar to the exact day that I'm finished, and that will be mid September. I think I will stay off the dairy, but sugar and fruit are definitely coming back. And maybe a little wheat, how can I resist the powers of Seitan!
However, I've discovered the wonders of rice syrup, which your body breaks down like a plant instead of a sugar. So I made chocolate pudding with cocoa powder, soy milk and rice syrup, soooo gooood!! And so good for me!
What a slow week this has been compared to last....
I think I forgot to mention that these awesome boys from Vernon came down to rock our sleepy town last week too, before the super rad Strain show on the weekend. By The Throat was so great, too bad they didn't get to stay at my house!
But, after a HC rockfest of a week, I think I needed a week to bum around and watch old movies. Tiamat is pulling me out of hibernation for a parade tomorrow, though. Yay Pride!
