So, 5 days after my last post, my husband was in a big car accident where his rideshare was t-boned. He sustained injuries: fractured c5-c7 that led to an anterior cervical decompression and fusion, he had 3 staples in his head, and severe brain injury that still has him with partial amnesia, balance problems, and major nerve damage. He's been in a neck brace and in and out of the hospital ever since.
I've been balancing lawyers, taking care of him, running my crystal business, and working my full time day job.
I'm exhausted.
But oddly, we're in really good spirits. Maybe it's because we know we have a good case for getting that huge policy that is on passengers when they get in a rideshare. Maybe it's because we know if he had injured his spine any higher he'd be a paraplegic. Either way, we still feel blessed.
I don't have much to say about that, my birthday is Saturday but I feel too grown for wish lists. Just hit me up if you want some Crystals or an Oracle Reading.
Actually, I had a moment that reminded me of SG today. Someone messaged me asking if I wanted a free tattoo. He has amazing work in his portfolio but I've gotten free tats that I regret and I don't want to regret any more. So I told him to give me a reasonable price and I'll support an artist. I'm just getting a rose tattoo, but I'm getting it for my grandma. She told me that she always wanted to get a tattoo and that she wanted a rose on her ankle. I'm gonna get it on my wrist for her because I don't like people near my feet, lol. Her birthday is a week after mine, so this seems like good timing. I don't think this dude knows I'm a SuicideGirl, and he definitely doesn't know that my husband is way more famous than me. 😂 He wanted promo, he's gonna get it.
