Holy shit you guys have I been through hell. The last blog was over a month ago and I talked about not getting an apartment. Well shortly after that blog my boyfriend and I got kicked out of his parents house because jewelry was going missing and they blamed it on me, even though my boyfriend and I knew it was his grandmother stealing his mom's jewelry. And sure enough the day after they kick us out with no where to go in -20 degree weather, they find the missing shit in the grandmother's room. But they had it out for us anyways, but I talked up his mom a lot and I really liked her and kind of looked up to her and I got to see that all she really cares about it money and jewelry.
So kicked out, we had no money to get a place to live, maybe enough for two nights in a hotel, we were fortunate enough to have my boyfriend's old friend open up her house to us for free till we got a permanent place to go. Her place was a 2 bedroom house that was a home for; her, her mom, her brother, and her 9 yr. old, 6 yr. old, and a 9 month old. Yikes! Everyone was nice there but boy was it cramped. We slept on the 9 yr. old's bed for 3 weeks, ate in the laundry room because there was no place to sit, and spent a lot of time in my car listening to the radio because that was the only peace we had.
Finally another friend of my boyfriend's had an open room for us to rent and we got the money together to move in. But between the time we agreed to move in and then paid and moved in, this guy had found a new girlfriend online and had decided to move her in with him as well. Uhhh, what? It was so uncomfortable staying there, we only made it 3 days before we got it out of him that we were going to be asked to move out at the end of the month because he wanted to move in her daughter. Fed up with bullshit we asked for our money back, I took the last of my money to apply for an apartment and amazingly I was accepted and we moved in the next day. So here I am. This entire time my laptop has been broken because the screen got busted the very first night I got kicked out and then this week it wouldn't even turn on so it had to be rebooted and all my shit was lost. Right now it's hooked up to a computer so I can type this out.
But yeah, that's what I've been going through. I have a one bedroom apartment now, and I have a bed and a 2 person bean bag chair. I feel like I can relax now, work is still going well for me. I keep making my boss happier and happier with sales numbers. So I think I'm done being rock bottom for now. I'm done keeping all of my possessions packed in my car for a month. Done standing in a laundry room for hours because there is no other place to go. Done having to wear pants all the time. Hopefully I have better adventures to talk about next time. But that's why I've been gone.
