So in my last blog I mentioned that I got $100? Yeah, totally blown, but not on purpose!
We had some freezing rain today and I had to go to work. I had just gotten off the exit to get on the interstate (couldn't have been going faster than 45mph) and my car instantly loses control and I spin out twice and fly backwards into a ditch and slide 80 yards to a halt. My car is fine, I'm fine, but if my car had stopped in the road I would have been facing traffic the wrong way and the trucks and cars coming at me wouldn't have been able to stop. And if my car had lost control any later my car would have gone backwards right into a ravine. Timing was everything for my safety. Had to get a tow to pull my car out which is costing me $125.
Side story, right after my car came to a stop, a PT Cruiser stops to see if I'm okay and they offer to take me to a gas station. I grab my mini purse from the car and go with them. When they dropped me off I accidentally left my purse behind and with it my driver's license, my id, my debit card, my $100 walgreens and target gift cards, that $100 bill. Luckily the couple that picked me up were good people. They saw from my license that I lived in the same neighborhood as some of their family, within an hour their niece was knocking on my door with a number to contact them. I'll be getting my stuff tomorrow!
I am pretty lucky today, however I am craving a Pepsi real badly now!
